All,

Anyone know or recommend a turkey guide either in or close to the hill country for early April? That would be Fredericksburg, Boerne, New Braunfels, Johnson City, Dripping Springs, Kerrville, etc.

The idea is to have a "base" house for the wife and kids to go shop/tour/sight see while dad and I go try to get on a gobbler. He's 80 so DIY probably isn't an option.

Any help or input is very much appreciated!!

Not sure if hes booked up or not but check out 4K Ranch in Brady, TX. Good friend of mine heads the guiding operation. Its not a full guided trip but you get dropped off and picked up each hunt. Plenty of birds. They have a lodge and 4-5 separate bunk houses.

I referred someone here a few years back and they rebooked a big group several times. Its about an hour North of Fredricksburg.

Cody 325 215 3630. Tell him Ducksausage sent you.

Hope you have some luck finding someone at this point for early April. I’m not familiar with any guides up that way but can share one in Utopia which is west of San Antonio. Name is Jeremy. (830) 275-2759

He is also a drop off and pick you up type of guy. Gives you an idea of where they might be. Can help w lodging or you can AirBNB.

He is booked the first week of April.
