This place is going to be great once it's completed.

Did a bike race through there a few times. I remember looking down from the gravel road at the ravines below. Full of old fridges, washers/dryers, hot water tanks, bags of trash, etc. Sad. Beautiful area though. Just don't look down.

It will never happen.

Imagine this, close all the black colleges and take away tops money from low income folks, yet build this monstrosity of a white people retreat?

And 10 million won't build that. More like $40-60 millions. It will be a $2-4 million design before the first tree is cut

Well the feds want to give Baton Rouge 100+ million for a trolly to run 3.4 miles between LSU and downtown. This appears to be a better use of money

Maybe, but I'd rather about 16 additional lanes of traffic added across the river between donaldsonville and 190. That's a much better use of dollar bills.

12 would probably get it done, but point taken.

I agree with tenfoe this won't happen.. Nor do I want it to happen.. We are cutting education but we can afford to build something like this? Plus how am I pose to hear a turkey gobble with people running around over my head?
