This is slowly happening

There is a proposed bill from Bill Cassidy to transfer the Kisatchie lands in Grant Parish to the police jury

True, but Mike Lee has tried this for years out in Utah with no success, and there's alot more support for transfer of federal lands out west than there is here. Those attempts aren't subversive.

But take management of a NF or NWR out of the hands of the federal employees, and continue to sniffle their ability to manage said lands with budget and staffing cuts--now you've created an environment where "the only logical answer is to give it to the people that have been managing it."

Which isn't the case at all, but now you've shown that it's the "locals" managing it, not the feds. Now you have public support for such a transfer.

What most people don't realize is that if you transferred all of the federal land in LA into state or local control, it wouldn't remain in their control long because they couldnt afford to actually manage it.

They need to sell bear tags in Great Smoky mnt nat. park. they are overpopulated and not intimidated by humans. There needs to be a culling.

Not really the bears fault that they built huge resorts and theme parks right in their home, and their home is visited by nearly 12 million people per year.
