You should CC the letter you send to the Lt to the Mississippi Attorney General's office too to cover your arse. The more agencies in the know, the better your arse will be protected and the less chance someone can screw you behind closed doors. Scorched earth policy... burn them all.

Diesel, Im not sure what the financial cut off for felony theft is but I would look into it. If you have had a total of 5 cards stolen you are at least over 50 dollars. Was anything else stolen?
Also the advice about keeping your head low and involving as many agencies as possible is solid.

We also had a camera stolen. Ill take that advice and send the letter to multiple agencies.

FWIW if he is proven to be off duty and on your property trespassing with a weapon it is a felony.

and definitely get as many agencies involved as possible even the feds if it comes down to it
make sure to get everything in writing if someone wants to frick you they can if you dont have everything backed up on paper somewhere safe my family has had problems when people just say things and dont get it down in writing its easy and its the ultimate backup in case you get fricked down the road
good luck and catch that fricker
theres the right name haha sorry i was on my friends computer

After further consideration, if green jeans knows what he has done and knows the law, he may be looking at felony charges and jail time. This makes things VERY dangerous. When you go out to your lease leave written instrutions of where you will be on the lease and at a minimum check in with someone by text every hour on the hour. a simple "Im fine a", "Im fine b" will suffice so that the recieving phone does not record it as a duplicate message. And if you can do so legally and are confident in your abilities I would not go out there without a sidearm.

You seriously need to go to the Feds. We had sketchy shite like this goin on at our place in western Kansas with a warden. The only thing that fixed it was getting the Feds involved, and they know how to get shite fixed!

In my past experience it is a good idea to make a buddy system. Never go out by yourself. Don't have to get a guy to sit with you, but make sure someone is in the area.
Really, I hope you frick this guy. Not bad enough that you have some idiot screwing around on your place, but to have an idiot with a badge really sucks.

I wouldn't mind us all meeting up but not being subpoenaed to appear in a courtroom. Lawd!
