Only a mudball of a coon today. I overslept and had to check after work and found three thrown traps, two with a hell of a catch circle around them. Not to happy about that.

Well I connected on 2 more Grey's and of course 2 more possums I don't know what has happened to the red fox but all anybody around here is catching is grey but there are tons of them. Bobcats are also down a little this year usually have caught 5 or 6 by now but oh well

A buddy in Virginia sent these to me today. the possum was still in the minks mouth. He said in 40yrs of trapping he hadn't seen anything like it.

No I'm gonna get geared up for next year though. I have several dozen new traps that need to be worked on and I don't have time to do it now.

Alright here is the cat from this morning. It was a young Tom medium size and not real good color but it's ok.

And of course the daily possum shot

Congrats on the cat.
My land line has been terrible lately. I decided to take some advice from a friend who is supposed to be a much better trapper. Moved my trap closer, 7-8 inches to middle of the pan. After all this snow I'm definitely moving it back. 1 night had 7 traps where they would have stepped on jaw instead of the pan.
I had popped all my traps a couple of days ago after an inch of sleet topped with 2 of snow made my sets worthless. May try to reset today. Only thing working for me lately is catching some huge muskrats. Had one yesterday that stretched 19 inches.

Picked up another yote yesterday. To dang cold for pics. Going to try and get most of my traps reset tomorrow. Going to try and salt the piss out of my traps and hope they can remain operational.
