I bought my pistol off of gunbroker, new in box, and I have no physical records outside of emails. Makes me think I should print them up and keep them with my manual.

There is no way in hell any gun store or ffl holder is going to:
Sort thru hundreds if not thousands of those federal forms
Give private information to anyone walking in off the street

Well glad I was able to somehow find my receipt but as most have said it was bs if they wouldn’t have fixed it anyway. I would have done some arguing for sure.
