Again,

My problem was one on your list, glad to know that's not an issue.

I've been practicing drawing while clicking the safety. It is pretty much to the point that it is second nature

If Mississippi is your state of residence (you'll find a clue on your driver's license), that where you should get your permit.

It will be honored in about two dozen states, including LA, AL, TX, TN etc.

Unless you are terminally lazy, and have a complete grasp of Mississippi's deadly force statutes, you should take a class and get the enhanced permit. You won't regret it -- and it will help you avoid becoming the next George Zimmerman.

Great video! For guns with an external hammer like the P238, do you suggest safety or no safety?

I thought about that but 2 days in Mississippi and I don't go anywhere except work, or my family's home. Occassionally a movie theater or wal mart, both dangerous places in this town.

It's weird, I live in NOLA, but I spend enough time in Mississippi that I see no reason to switch my license.

Just try to remember the important shite at this point... like how old you are and where you live

Considering it is a very short, single-action-only trigger based on the 1911, I think you should use the safety. I'm just not huge on using safeties on DA pistols and striker-fired pistols.

I'm still considering a single clip holster for my sr9c, I just think the double clip is too much...we'll see. For winter conceal I'm going to get a jacket with a pocket for holstering. Glockstore has an interesting one.

You'd be surprised how much more comfortable it is. The fact that the only thing touching you is a flat piece of leather makes it quite comfortable. The single clip one feels more like a "bulge" which is a big bulge when it's a double-stack pistol.

I just would prefer something I can clip on, plus the leather holster looks more secure.

But I know what you're saying. It looks like the double clip takes an hour to put on. What model is that?

It's made by White Hat. It's just their standard model.

Not necessarily. It also secures the gun MUCH better than a single. It holds the gun closer and tighter to your body, especially when you're walking or running (for whatever reason).

just for your personal outrage, since I've watched almost all of your videos

Conceal Carry is Pointless - ABC

of course, in a real life scenario, the aggressor will be a trained firearms instructor and will know that you are carrying a firearm, along with all of the students in the room.

ETA: it does highlight the need for continuous practice and training, but still what a crock.
