Does anyone know of a GPS chip compatible with a Lowrance Gen III that has the cove names on the map screen? I know I can save a waypoint and name it that cove but was curious if a card was available that already had that information. I have Navionics Platinum but it doesn't show cove names.

You can download Toledo Bend boat lanes from this website. LINK

I downloaded and used these when I made a trip to Toledo earlier this year and they worked pretty well. The boat lanes can be loaded directly to unit so you can use a card for satellite imagery.

boat lanes is just that though. Its just the lanes. I actually use three maps for toledo on my lowrance. I use the navionics south premium which has the names and a ton of other things including bouys. You can also shade depths so if you want to target the 15-20ft areas you can highlight that with a specific color. Has 1ft contours on most of the lake.
I then use the boatlanes chip for driving and there is another map card by tommy martin. It has the creek channels, old road beds, old bridges, etc.

I have Navionics South Premium. Any ideas as to why I'm not showing names? Is there a setting on my GPS that may be causing this?

read my post again. The boat lanes will be overlaid on your navionics map. You download the info directly to the unit so that a different chip can be installed and the boat lanes are still visible. So you don't have to keep changing chips

i read your post. he asked about cove names. the boat lane map has nothing to do with cove names. i understand how maps and graphs work.
