Actually...HPV, the virus,that causes cervical cancer may put you at increased risk for oral cancer even in the absence of tobacco use.

I was negative for that. They checked that in the biopsy.
They don't know hat caused it.
Just lucky I guess.

And I've been happily married for 10 years.
She does travel a lot for work though.
ETA: meaning she brought it back, not that I was stepping out in her absence. No chance for either though.

It's more on the side of the tongue but it is much better than the base.

Once you get it, you always have it. And may not show any visible sign of it. I've vaccinated both of my daughters and if I had a son I would as well. In our area approx 50-60% of sexually active females have it.

Haven't seen any racial breakdown. I would guess it would be skewed by elevated numbers amongst minority groups since either other STD is much higher in those groups.
