Yep. Pretty sure he talked about liberals as the only ones having gluten allergies. I think he mostly just cares about hunting and isn't hardcore into politics. As long as he can hunt and as long as the government doesn't restrict access to public land is pretty much all he cares about.

He’s said he is conservative but feels like the Republicans have a long way to go on public lands, preservation and access to hunting, etc. he’s not wrong and that’s basically where I’m at with the current state of things.

Honestly, after thinking about it more, I couldn't see a better position for him to take. Politics isn't a game winning strategy on TV outside of news. So I really can't fault him on his stance - public or not.
The marketing, well, you have to strike while the iron is hot and make your money. I may not like it, but it isn't my business.
He has brought out the cooking aspect which I enjoy. I find myself holding back on buying the new cookbook due to the reasons above, but I enjoy food. I do watch the Youtube vids on different prep ways. However, I do that on a bunch of different shows as well.
So, I guess my stance is that he isn't perfect, but no one really is. I'll continue watching the show. Probably will never buy any of the stuff he endorses. But, Das Boat was a highly enjoyable, original, show idea.

The cook book is excellent and there is 0 marketing in it.

I have the solitude bibs and jacket. I really like them. Almost went with sanctuary but decided on the solitude. I believe in layering so I can do more with the solitude. Sitka makes awesome stuff I just dont like the elevated camo at all. Deer see very differently from us thats true, but research shows that deer see the blue spectrum really well and to me that grey in the elevated has a very blue hue to it. In a stand im sure it fits right in. But i might not be in a stand all the time.

Got my Kuiu jacket. Its lighter than I thought it would be.
Glad I got the XL, they do run small.
It's a nice jacket. We'll see how it holds up.
