Well, I got a symmetry on my carrot stick right now. I've really liked the carrot stick so far but I'm not opposed to changing. Revo S abu garcia that is?

I might need your help when I get mine . Don't know very much about the baitcast at all. My family and I have only fished spinning.

Yes,I caught Trout on the pilings Saturday 10-1 over the other two fishermen on my boat struggled. Same bait, leadhead, line ETC. Only difference was my rod and reel. They vowed to go buy them some microguide rods and good reels after that trip and they were old setup kinda guys like Oldgeauxt.

you know something, the guy asked a question, i gave him my opinion. you came along and bashed my opinion. I didn't say a dayum thing about anybody else's OPINIONS, so why don't you just give your opinion on what you like and STFU about anybody else's opinion, especially mine.

If you're going to be casting all day go with the low profile for sure. I've got Revos and Curados, I get more distance with the Revos, but when it comes to drag Shimano is the tits hands down. Number of bearings is also something you want to pay close attention to also, the more bearings the smoother it will function. Make sure they are the anti corrosion type.

For your first one you might wanna get a cheap h20 Xpress. Good little reel at academy. They are usually $49 but you can catch them on sale for $29 every now and then

i'm not gonna lie starting out with a cheap one isn't the most thing to do at all, however once you learn how to use that one any semi-decent one will be like cake to use

I don't mind spending a little money to get a halfway decent one. I just didn't want to drop 200-250 on a reel . I'm not that boss.

but I'm tired of trying to flip the bail in mid air in order to get my cast on point.
I've used spinning tackle all my life and have never done this. Stop doing this.

So how do get your cast to stop? When I'm marsh fishing and I can't throw my pole exactly 15 yards how do you stop?

Let me guess, you cast on point every time?
