Just saw a doe, just out of range of the 45-70. Last night an 8 point was shot and so far this morning 2 does are down.
I have folded over some big hand warmers and put them over my toes. Borrowed some boots that are two big and my feet are perfectly toasty.

Hunted till 1030 this morning after wind picked up, went back to the camp, ate lunch, washed some clothes, drank moonshine and regrouped.
Just got back in the same stand at 100, wind in my face, sun in my eyes, beer is cold, it's a beautiful afternoon.
I just need some 4 legged animal that is edible to come into me food plot to make my day/season complete.
Although looking at the forecast tomorrow is supposed to be the best day of the week, so I'm sure I'll be up at 5 am once again

Back at it in Western Alabama. Almost 40 degrees warmer than it was this morning. Brought some company to the stand.
