What way was it supposed to go? I know dolphins are smart but I didn't think they had gotten suffrage yet...

itismemc was just pissed because he got raped in a dolphin cave one. That, and GMP needed some videos that were actually worth a shite.

There have been multiple dolphin threads in the past. Not everyone thinks they are all up there with rainbows and unicorns.

The problem people have isn't that they will hurt snapper numbers in the whole Gulf. Some people feel they hurt the ones right under the boat.

The problem is people putting them on a higher level than any other animal.

My main beefis that it shouldn't be a protected animal crime, it should be a wanton waste charge.

What?

Well, that's where they should be.

Why?

Right, it should be that and more.

It's cool if you wanna eat a dolphin bro, but have you ever been snapper fishing? I'll put it in list form for you.

Ordered list of things that are hard to do while on the gulf, from hardest to easiest:

-find which beer is mine
-grab a new beer out of the icechest
-not piss myself
-catch a red snapper
-not fall over
-catch more fish than Capt ST

But I think it is easier to catch a snapper than to not fall over. YMMV

I think their intelligence is only second to humans, IIRC

Personally, if you'd kill dolphins because they're in the fish you're on rather than just move or fish through them, I'd like to see fishing licenses revoked. Permanently.

It's about as sportsman-like as spotlighting deer/hunting out of season.

I can picture you riding the gulf on a majestic dolphin, .243 blazing, coming inshore to battle the trout fishing dolphin haters but staying within waters navigable in 1812.

It's beautiful.
