If you're in doubt, just wear them around the house on carpet so that you don't wear the sole. If the fit doesn't improve, send them back (w/ the return shipping label that came w/ the boots) and order 1/2 size bigger. It really is free to return them if if they don't show signs of having been worn. That's what I did w/ my first pair that was WAY to tight. The replacement boots fit fine. I've been very happy w/ them after nearly 2 years. In fact, I ordered another pair 6 months ago.

I started drinking the Tecovas kool-aid last year and haven't be disappointed yet. I regularly wear their suede and just picked up some black calfskins for Christmas.

As a note, they will be releasing 3 different python prints in 2020. They sold out of their first batch in 12 hours last year...
