Used to hunt that area many many years ago. Got busted shooingt big ducks in teal season. Was only 15 years old. Oldman busted my arse real good for that one. Told me that he though he tough me better NOT to get cought.

Well it was about as pitiful as I thought it would be. Saw a few flocks of teal but nothing to get very excited about. Saw quite a few spoonies grays and mottleds. Zero grass left in the ponds. I am now in panic mode to find some new property before big duck season. Also, everything past the lever got pretty wrecked from the storm.

pepperidge how far are you from rigolets area? have a lease in the marsh there and have not gotten any reports.

If I had to guess "as the crow flies" just under a mile...never did measure it by GPS so I'd be lying if I said I knew for sure...

This article sounds about right. I have always seen tons of teal on my property. The last three teal seasons I was seeing thousand at this point.

Going Saturday to Big Branch and haven't spotted a damn thing all offseason. Hope they are out there.
