Saw a young 6pt trailing/chasing a doe with her two yearlings yesterday evening in Amite County MS

I concur. This same day about 5 yrs ago here in St tammany parish I had an 8pt almost climb up the stand with me following my scent drag. I dont hunt October anyway so nov 1 starts bow and just shift the seasons 1 month. End feb 28/29 would support

I only rifle hunt, and in my area, my most consistent hunts are up through mid December. Don't need a later season.......but would hunt it

I'm headed to Alabama in 2 weeks for a couple of days of doe whacking on the 7th and 8th. Seems about right to me.
