Which is the better option? I am getting into the AR market and want to get the best for my money. I know there is better out there but as far as getting the most bang for my buck I have it down to these two options. I am open to anything and want the OB to discuss.

Ruger
Ruger is probably the best brand for quality/value ratio in all of the firearms industry, especially rimfire and revolvers.

S&W is close right in there with Ruger and probably has a similar option.
I would probably go with the Ruger as well. I doubt Springfield’s AR15 formula is much different than anyone else’s but I know for a fact that Ruger barrels are high quality and will give you great accuracy. I also like the 1:8 twist Ruger seems to favor.

Reddit Gun Deals seems to like the MPR because of the upgraded (compared to basic) features that come with it. Can usually get one for around $600.
From Gun Deals:
Compared to other entry-level ARs on the market, you're still coming out way ahead here with all the upgrades this thing is packing. In fact, this is more a mid-tier piece at an entry-level price.
18'' cold hammer-forged barrel w/5R rifling: $200
Ruger’s Elite 452 two-stage trigger: $140
Low-profile gas block : $10
15-inch free-float handguard: $70
Magpul MOE SL stock: $50
Magpul MOE grip: $15
