Thanks! Looking forward to using it. I ordered the Fimco parts directly from Fimco. Also ordered the wiring harness from them because I couldn’t find one with heavy enough wire to handle the pump amps on Amazon.

Tank and tubing came from Amazon. Sprayer from Northern Tool. Nozzle and suction strainer came from Black Rain directly.

Looks awesome baw, sorry I didn’t get out and take pics of my rig but yours looks better than mine either way. I have never found a way to manage a gun hose and have ran over several, which is why I deleted it completely. The best looking ones I’ve seen wrap the hose around the tank somehow.

Should I get the tank with or without a sump?

I couldn’t find any pics to show what the sump looks like so I went without, but it probably would help with getting the last few gallons out of the tank. If your tubing is rigid (braided nylon is fine) then it stays near the bottom anyway, but it will lose suction with 2-3 gal left.

Bumping this up to the top with some questions.

What’s the best way to attach the pickup tube? I’d rather not just have the tube run thru and siliconed. Is there some way to affix a 1/2” PVC dipleg? I guess the store-bought ones just have a straw stuck into a well-matched hole.

I would imagine you could make a rigid dip tube with a thru-hull fitting and get it exactly where you want it and running down to the lowest point of your tank. I attached a heavy stainless strainer to mine but it’s proving to be overkill and a little too big to keep suction down to the last couple gallons, so I may try something new once it’s spraying weather here in a few weeks.
