I called the mud hole. They want $250 with no alignment

Called Steve's 4wd. He wants $350 with alignment.

The rough country 2" kit is only $50. Looking for a place that will install this. I don't have the knowledge or tools to do this myself.

Update: about to go attempt this. Been watching videos. Have the tools. Wish me luck. Will report back

I paid $250 parts, Install and aligned in BR at Alpha customs. $250 was cheapest I could find in the BR area just for a pricing reference.

Sponsor the Hell Divers Rodeo so I would suggest them

FWIW: An alignment could easily run $100, installation of the leveling kit is super easy

It is not difficult to do yourself, especially if it is a simple spacer on the front coil. There are videos on youtube showing how to do it.

man, on a 2015 Sierra those are the easiest blocks ever to install. I installed them on mine in like 30 minutes then aligned it.

Sometimes getting that front strut back in can really suck though

I thought about doing mine myself, but I'm at the point in life where I don't mind paying $150 for someone to do it for me.

its the spacer that goes on the bottom where the strut bolts go into the lower control arm.

Take wheel off, take both lower nuts off, get a big arse pry bar and pry upwards with the heel of the bar under the lower strut. Slide the spacers in and remove the pry bar. Tighten nuts and do other side. Very easy.

leave upper strut bolted to the truck. No need in removing the entire thing. Now on the 07 and older trucks, taking that damn coil spring out if you're not careful it would take your damn head off.

I have a F150, so my spacer goes on top. I agree the GMC ones you're talking about are pretty easy.

Yeah that would be even easier. I did one a few years ago that was a 2" stainless steel spacer that installed on top of the coil.

Got it done today by myself. Would have been a lot easier with a third hand. Took me 2 hours to do the driver side and 30 mins on the passenger. I couldn’t for the life of me get the holes lined up on the driver side. I’m glad I didn’t it myself. I paid to have it done twice before on different trucks.
