I cut three 48" dowel rods in half to make six 24" rods.

They're only jabbed about 4-6" in the ground because it's dry, but that ought to work in a damp or flooded field.

They actually swivel and move on the dowel rods pretty good off of a light wind in my back yard.

Nice job. I bought a paint kit for mallards and pintails 20 years ago or more. Still have some left, most dried up. It was paint by numbers for both sexes. I touch up the ragged ones each year. Mostly the heads, bills, all the white markings. Need to get another kit, can’t remember what catalog I got it from. Think it was Knutson or something like that. Dooley’s out for the trip to Arkansas, he’s working that week. I’ll find somebody. Send you the money soon.

Aight, I have a couple of guys waiting in the wings too. We won't have any problem filling seats.

I'll be down near you tomorrow afternoon and Saturday morning to deer hunt if you want to come have a few beers at my camp.
