Some very very good stuff. A lot of reality that differs from the traditional thoughts of security and threats that many people seem to have.

However, his opinions on ARs was

Female President, enough said.

Argentina is a sad place really, They're trying to start a fight again with the UK over the Falkland islands.

They usually have a good soccer team though!

I just read something the author of this article wrote about the possibility of another conflict with the UK...

He says no freaking way. Argentina is just puffing out its chest. They basically have no military to speak of at the moment.

Well, hes coming from a different mindset than us in the US for starters. Argentina would be a better place to be exposed to FAL's and .308 Mausers than it would an AR.

He definitely prefers the larger rifle rounds. I don't think he has any military training to speak of.

Yeah, his AR argument was basically it must be shotty gun if it has all these aftermarket mods that you have to attach. Actually, that's what makes it an awesome gun.

I particularly enjoyed his thoughts on how kidnappings and general robberies occured...and how he thought American would react to it. I tend to agree that we live such a cush live style here, and I don't think people would accept these kinds of changes very well. I think you'd have a lot of desperate and bat shite crazy people around here...too many people who have never had to deal with shite. In the end, I think the general poor (redneck trailer trash and ghetto) will thrive when all of this comes to pass...because finally, the law enforcement will no longer be there as a barrier. It will be up to the GENERAL militia to deter crime. People will have to arm themselves and have a heightened sense of awareness to survive, and there are just too many soccer moms living in University Club that have never had to deal with that shite before.

Also, probably his biggest tip was the part about just up and leaving your country. Solid advice...need to start saving up money overseas.

The same fellow has another interesting comment (in a video) about the fantasy of "WORL" or what preppers call "Without Rule of Law".

Historically, this rarely occurs in an economic collapse, or even in a state of war. What's more likely is, law enforcement or the govt in general, will become even more difficult to deal with than today, and also not be too keen on you protecting yourself even if they no longer have adequate ability to do so.

An interesting example he put forth was... you go to your prepped up cabin during a collapse and find 20 squatters living in there. Maybe they are armed. What do you do? Shoot them all? Men, women and children? And what if there is still a semblance of law left? You are going to whatever is left of the jail, even if the law/courts would have taken months to evict those people properly.

Just an example, but I think the thought bears some weight.
