"Pemco" wow......only an old timer would use that

nahh i'm not an old timer.. just grew up around a few.. we actually used to run dogs back there and shoot a ton of quality deer... but with all the pressure back there now, we mainly shoot small deer and a bunch of hogs

and i never knew why it was called 'pemco' road, never asked, just always went with it

yea.. there's a shite ton of them.. but its posted property back there so don't even think about it

ETA: i believe that the majority of the nice, rack bucks stay across the intercoastal canal in lafitte.. ever since they started all that construction back there, the amount of rack deer has gone down tremendously.. its a damn shame

Nope, played little league football and baseball in Belle Chasse. Went to highschool in New Orleans.

I used to call the launch Pemco also and I'm not an old timer. I always wondered if they killed deer back there and I guess you answered my question. I used to waterski all the time in Pemco back when I was in highschool in the late 90's. At one time they used to have a lot more deer in Jesuit Bend before they started all the construction in the 90's but I was too young then.

Are you from Belle Chasse too? Born in 79?

If you played little league baseball or football in Belle Chasse I'm sure I played with you. I played baseball the ages of 8-13 I think and I played football for a few years also and practiced at Belle Chasse high. I think that is where everyone practiced for little league football.

No, I'm a little ahead of you in age but I'm sure I know you/your family.

Born and raised all my life down there. Not one of those FNG's that moved in

Had some family from DTR that probably went to school with you after Katrina.

I went to ROA in 86-88 I think. I'm originally from DTR but moved out when I was young.
