Yea ive still got it on there, im not sure if im gonna stick with the tru glo or the original bead. if i keep the tru glo I dont see any reason in keeping it??

yall need to stop talking trash about my old 742 woodsmaster.
Mine works fine, but I know a lot of people have trouble. All of the old 74 series remingtons had to be kept clean and some were particular about mags and loads.
Dragged mine out a few months ago that had not been fired in 10 plus years and it went through 10 rounds without a failure. Accuracy was another matter as the scope was mounted with those old weaver swing over mounting rings. I am going to the range before deer season to see if I can get this thing relatively dialed in.

Had lost the sight the year before. One day my watch quit working so i threw it against the wall & the winder rolled back to me. Said you recon that'll work for a sight.

yep, i did that in the early 80's.. you always had to have the pocket knife open and available up in the climber...(to get bullet unstuck)..

Novice...I always put a thin thread of Rem oil on the shell first loaded into the chamber...ejects every time...though a second round was rarely needed...
