I myself was having this same debate for a new reel but I think I'm going with the Chronarch. I have a Curado 200E7 that I love....so I'm sticking with that type.
That said, I think you did just fine with the Calcutta.....they're great reels.

I'd go chronarch, I hate round reels. Easier to fit my hand around low profile.

Man, I had a close call the other day. Started talking to one of the coolest girls I have ever met, went to that earth day with her, and she signed up to win a stupid gay arse kayak. Then, she had the balls to tell me she wanted me to take her on a kayak trip in the basin. Da fuk is wrong with this chick?
I told her if she won the kayak, I would wait for her to fall asleep and run it over with the truck and to never insult me with those types of questions again. Hopefully she got the hint.

Looked pretty good. Not gonna win any awards, but I was happy. She is one of three chicks I have ever met that can keep up with my smart-assery. That is a talent in itself
MJ2, it was actually nice earlier in the day. Went from 12:30-2:30 and there wasn't any problems. Once the word gets out about free shite, it's on.
My uncle had a fundraiser last weekend at City Park(NO), and he said all day he had black people coming up wanting the "free food". Once he told them it was $50 to get the free food, they immediately left. I guess a sign saying "FUNDRAISER FOR ALS FOR xxx LITTLE KID" means free food now

I still haven't figured out how to chunk it as far as other bait casters. I've got to really hoss on it to go further than 25yds, and it has to have at least a 3/8oz lure
