Sherburne and duck lake

Went and scouts Sherburne today and saw tons of woodies but no where to stop wade and throw out decoys.... Does anyone know of a place? Also can you hunt on duck lake?

No im soo frustrated with that place... went scouting today and just finally gave up..... saw good numbers of woodies but just no where to park myself..... I dont have a go devil just a regular outboard.... and i cant get too deep into the swamp...

Where were you putting your boat in? Me and some friends have gotten pretty far with a flat boat and 25hp w/ tiller handle .

I have never been out there just heard a report that there might be tons of ducks... I see a pipeline that goes into the the north east part of it sooo im gonna try and find it... where do you put in?

Yeah the two pipelines I know of are the dixie and Dow, and both of them are accessible off of big Alabama bayou, its at the launch right off of 190 in krotz springs. Where the gun range and campground is. And I have seen people take pretty decent size outboards up to those pipelines.

If you have an ATV/UTV you can try the Sherburne weekday lottery hunts on the South Farm Complex near Ramah. You don't have to pre-apply like you do the youth/weekend lottery hunts. You and your buddies how up before 0430 and put your name in the hat and if you or one of your buddies are selected you get to hunt. You just need your blind material, dekes, etc.
