Has anyone gone through this process recently? Did they need the Louisiana titles on the hull and engine?

I'm assuming they will, but I've been waiting a month for WLF to mail me my clear titles.

That's his problem. Notarized bill of sale for the trailer and boat, sign it over, take the money to the bank.

I just did this. I gave him:
Bills of sale on both boat/motor and trailer
Title on boat and title on trailer

I just knew I would receive texts saying he needed more in Arkansas, but haven't heard back.

I needed all kinds of extra crap on my Mississippi boat I just registered in La.

To be safe, I would give him your registration, and a copy of your DL.

I bought a Gator Trax a few years ago I live in MS. By the time I got through that process of paying sales tax and registering the trailer. I was so damn pissed of with these arse hats I called the AG office and reported the tax commission. Did no good but I felt better.

So I could complete the sale, and just get the titles to the buyer later?

What about in state? Can the buyer just carry around a copy of my registration and tell and WLF agents that we’re waiting on them for paperwork?
