I see these online for $270. Is this a "buy even though I absolutely don't need it" price? Never owned a SA 9.

I have one of the og Springfield XD 9MMs, and it's been fine for me.

Looks like a Hi-Point had sex with VP9 grips

Great pistol at a great price. Directly comparable to a Glock 19 but optics ready

I love mine. The grip is much more ergonomic than a Glock 19, IMO. The Glock feels like a block of wood to me. The XD's grip is rounded on the back, more in line with a Walther PPQ and Taurus TX22. I have to admit, the first 40-50 rounds were a bit hard on my old hands and skinny fingers. But, at 70-80 rounds the recoil spring smoothed out and I found that sweet spot in my grip, and I had an absolute blast shooting it. I can't wait to get back to the range. The trigger has very little take up, then a crisp and a bit stiff break (for my old fingers). My guess is that the trigger is about 5.5 lbs. No biggie. It is a very fun gun. And easy to rack. It ate Winchester and Freedom Munitions 115 gr. ball; Magtech +P 115 gr. hollow point; Freedom Munitions remanufactured 124 gr. XTP nickel hollow point; and Federal Premium HST 147 gr. hollow point without a single hitch.

Can you share where you're seeing this price?

CDNN Sports. I've used them before and never had any issues. Doesn't say how long the price will be low, though.

Very interested in this gun but haven't seen it in stock in Houston. I'm hesitant to pull the trigger site unseen.

Any updates from those that have this gun? Just looked at in person and was really impressed.
