Pre Katrina most of the houses were in time warp from late 60s early 70s...

Went there all the time in high school, buddy's family had property there. Bluegill central on the lake, bluegill (Busch) central at the pavilion. Fun times.

Very healthy bluegill population on the lake. The sacalait fishing was best though towards the back of the lake off the points. Used to slaughter them off those points using small silver crank baits.
Silver crankbaits for the bass was the best bait in that lake.
