Can’t be a mouse. No pointy ears and the tail is too short. I’ve got a video but there’s no real easy way to upload it.

Can't tell for sure, but I'd say a vole or a shrew. If we saw it from the front we could probably tell for sure (could even be a mole, but doubt it).

It might be a shrew but it’s body was much longer than what google images is a showing me.

Pics aren't great but it is probably a shrew and likely a Blarina brevicauda. Pocket gophers and moles have specialized front limbs and feet for digging. This critter doesn't. The fur and elongated rostrum look like a shrew. It is robust like a Blarina and has a short single colored tail.

its a shrew as other have indicated.
