Any of you have experience with Sierra Sport Master 9mm 124G JHP ammo?
Bought 60 rounds today for more than I should have, but frick it. I used gift cards. Its the first time in a while I found 9mm that wasn't FMJ, so I pulled the trigger (pun intended).

Haha picked some up from Academy last night in 9mm hollow point. Never heard of them and was wondering the same.

Bought some several weeks back. It was all that was in the shelf.
Cycled just fine in my Canik TP9SFX, TP9 Elite SC, my Rock Island 1911 Ultra FS and my Shield.
They're loaded in some weird kind of case that sounds unlike any other "brass" I've ever heard when it's ejected and hits the ground.

Shell Shock casings are 50% lighter than brass (but stronger and more elastic), reloadable, eject cool to the touch, and magnetic – so ejected rounds clean up easy indoors or out.

The store clerk told me it was steel. Since it was all they had I still bought a couple boxes.

Sierra makes a very good bullet, I’ve loaded hundreds of rounds in my rifle bullets over the years. Sport Master is the name of one of their hollow point handgun offerings and comes in 3-4 weights in 9mm. They also produce the popular V Crown bullets for Sig Sauer loaded ammo. I’ve never seen the Sierra Sports Master loaded ammo but based on the quality I’m used to seeing from other Sierra products, I wouldn’t hesitate to try it.

The case is "modular". I think the base is steel and the rest is brass. How else would it be magnetic AND reloadable? See pic.
