Sorry for your loss. Lost my mom at the end of August last year. A lot of the good in me comes from her, as with you and your dad. Prayers sent.

My condolences Roger.
I am very lucky to have my father still with us. It's hard just to talk about the idea of him being gone. We are very close. I can only imagine your pain and grief.

Thanks, everyone. We live life large, but when we're gone it's all just memories. Memories and experiences, our legacy to the world.
I'm flying into Dallas, driving to Arkansas to say goodbye. We all share a common bond on this board, some common values which forms a kinship, if that can possibly be done via social media. It's a strange feeling, the world feels much different today.
Make as many memories with your elders as you can, give your children the legacy of experiences and values. In the end, it's what matters and all we leave with the world that will last.
