I dont know why they're so unpleasant to shoot. They're pretty heavy. The stock design is just really bad I guess. I've shot a 7600 .270 a wholeeeeee bunch and I think it's as uncomfortable to shoot as a .338 that has a really good stock.

I had a 7600 in .270,would kick the snot out of me.
I like to never got it sighted in,shoot it a few times and would feel like I was going to get a nosebleed if I shot it again.
It’s definitely something to do with the stock.

I bought an A-Bolt with synthetic stock, can shoot a box(20 rounds) through it and never bothered me at all.Later,I bought a 7 mm mag,same rifle.It kicks more than the .270 but doesn’t bother me.I mean I can feel it but doesn’t hurt like the 7600 did.

You don’t buy a pump rifle for accuracy.
