Dewalt all the way. Rigid if you're on a budget, but it's always best to pay the extra money and get the best tools.

Is that why Milwaukee came out with their 12V line up after DeWalt did? Pretty sure Bosch actually started that 12V mini tool option. Only thing Milwaukee makes with top quality are their Sawzalls (that's only because Hitachi doesn't offer a 15A version) and specialty HD drills. I'll pick Bosch for hammer drills, Makita for circ. saws, and Porter Cable 3x24 belt sander (only damned tool they haven't screwed up in the last 15 years).
