Wasn't arguing its ability to kill police officers, just rolling with what I've heard it referenced as ("cop killer").
That's an honest mistake that's been made by many. The media has become so anti gun it's almost become necessary to double check everything they print that's gun related.

I feel safe knowing I'm carrying armor piercing rounds
The 5.7's "armor piercing" capability is associated only w/ the law enforcement ammo; it has no special AP capabilities w/ civilian ammo. I don't understand why a self defense handgun needs AP capabilities anyway.

If you're comfortable w/ the 5.7 as a self defense handgun for yourself, that's fine. I just wanted any other readers to hear the counterpoint.

IMO and everyone has their own... The Ruger LC9 is terrible design with too many safety features. I've had keltecs I've like better than the Ruger. I prefer the $200 P11 over the LC9. Much rather carry the PF9 over the LC9.

The Kel Tec PF9 is a solid gun. I've never owned a P11, but I'm sure it's a great gun too. They are so affordable too.
