What's better about them? Never been in one.
They are light in weight (which may not be a good thing for people who fish Toledo Bend or Rayburn a lot).

They handle well, have good fuel economy, are laid out really well for fishing (storage & live wells) and get on plane quickly (helps if you're in shallow water).

Down here most of my fishing is in the Spillway, Verret or the marsh. Don't need need a heavy boat in these areas (although there are quite a few Rangers and Skeeters down here).

For the dudes that are interested in speed (I'm not one of them), they run pretty fast. When I was breaking in the engine on my current rig (21' Bullet w/ Mercury 250 Pro XS) I thought the engine was dropping a cylinder at higher RPMS. Mechanic & I took it out with his laptop connected to the engine and we clocked it (GPS) at 83 with 2 people and full fishing load. (Other than that one exercise, on a typical fishing trip my top speed is more like 45 - even slower if I have younguns in the boat). I get 6-7 mpg on fishing trips (Mercury 250 Pro XS).

All things equal A Bullet won't be quite as fast as an Allison, but they're pretty close (but I find they handle better than the Allisons).

I think everybody pretty much understands that choosing a boat is very subjective, and is dependent on a person's planned use (and budget). A Bullet is usually going to cost more than a Skeeter or Ranger of comparable size, so there are a lot of really good boats that cost a lot less.

Ranger
Phoenix
Triton
Skeeter
Legend
Bass cat
Nitro

I have a Triton TR-196, which is 19'6" long. It's currently getting a new lower unit put on, so I borrowed my buddy's Nitro to fish the BFL on Toledo last weekend. His Nitro is 20'8" and my Triton is wayyyyy smoother, turns better, and is more stable than that boat.

I’ve never fished out of a Legend, Phoenix or BassCat

But I gave a pretty low bar for a boat, floating is my priority.

I can’t imsgine any of them are bad.

Inshore boats should all be fine
