Makes sense. I want something I can use for sight fishing and to help get to/from duck blind.
I was all about having someone fabricate an aluminum but am willing to spend a bit more for something that's going to be easier.

Seems like for $200 it's my best bet. Do you have a telescoping pole? Cabelas seems to have one 9-17' that's well reviewed

For another $100 you can get a 19'6'' Mangrove pole. It's not great but it's worlds better than the super stick. One good thing about is it's tough as nails and if it breaks you can fix it easily.

I get my 22' majek extreme unstuck all the time with my superstick. I have the longer one. I like it because i telescope it in & put it in my under gunnel rod holder.

I have an 18' Superstick and I love it. I use it on my 1660 Gatortail with a poling platform. I use it for lots of other things too, like a stake out pole.
