They always have a “deal”. You can get that kit for $260 or so if you wait until a a real holiday.

I look at that pic of what you get and it is absolutely overwhelming to me. I am used to buying a gun and having it ready to go.
I am not knocking any of it, but I can relate to the dumb questions posed, because I have the same ones. Many of us were/are very slow to warm to buying an AR (this may be wrong nomenclature) and while simple to some, seems really daunting to others.
