And always on a full moon for me.
Kinda like the 2nd rut alot of times you can come back to the same bedding area next full moon and catch some "stragglers"

Only problem is it's not easy finding tiny crawfish in May. At least I've found that to be the case.

No. Even the males were small compared to what we catch when it's on. Should be soon though.

During the spawn and pre-spawn, it's the worm. Fishing deep from May through summer, cricky.

Tried them Saturday, no luck. Did find the sac au perch in about 10" of water.

I went to Chicot yesterday and boated one...no, ONE total.

Daughter caught two bream. We didn't fish too long and went in the middle of the day though.
