You must have a good camera. Nice pic. Looks like where I hunt in Venice. I will post some pics tommorrow when I get to my computer.

I'll try to find the pic, but about 8 years ago we finished the hunt w/ 17 greenies and 1 hen (she was hit on a one shot 2 birds deal)

Not sure why greenies have always been rare in my spots. Can remember hunting in Johnson Bayou in the 80's and killing many a pintail, all kinds of other ducks but no mallards. Maybe cause we'd limit out early and be out the blind so early.

heres one from a couple years ago,

all this happened by 10a.m, including the beer drinking

12ducks 10reds 5 bass 2catfish..not pic is the 4' garfish. I'll find that one

Nice bag here but breasting out this many woodies would suck big time. They'd have to go to the pickers. Skin keeps tearing cause they don't have any fat on them.

Peeling back the feathers and skin on mallards is just like taking off socks.

yes it is and pouldeau are even easier


ETA: we always pluck the woodies then bacon wrap and slow cook
