Don't. If there's one thing I've learned is that the boat don't catch the fish. I've sat in a raggly old 16 ft aluminum boat with a 40 Force motor and destroyed the fish while watching a 70-80k boat 100 yards away that couldn't buy a bite.

I use tortillas...

It'll be a learning experience for both of us. I don't have a lot of experience with reservoir fish, but I know a guy that works on Lake Austin every day who could probably point out some spots/baits.

I caught more red fish out of my 1448 alweld with a manual 40 merc than I have any other boat I have owned.
