And that was on the table… but, my electric is on one side of the house, and my gas is on the other - I don’t even want to know what running either service to the other side is going to cost.
We loose power - at most - twice a year… I’m not sure having a standby for that little of use makes sense. I know they are exercised regularly, but still…
12kw will power everything with plenty of room left over to run several portable AC’s.
