Will be fishing there this weekend and need some input. Going to be renting kyacks and fishing with the wife.i could some use suggestions on fishing spots along with lures to use. I have never fished the area and don’t want to go in totally blind.

Always have had overall the best luck on a large spinner with a black cocaho with a chartreuse tail. Also, 1/2 gold spoon topped with shrimp under a popping cork.
If they follow the spinner and don't hit it just fish the cocaho on a plain jighead feeling it slow.

I always used white jig head with pink eye (don’t make them anymore) with a black cocahoe with a white tail.

But I usually fish the reserve and that would be a nice paddle in a yak!

Same here, but I will say when I've done the mothership he has put me on the fish every time.

How does the mothership trip work? I saw something about it but got sidetracked. How much does it run ?

Well of course, he’s making $200 to drive 5 miles into the marsh
