A pee-RAWG is a small flat bottomed boat, like the one the OP is building. A pee-ROW is like a row of peas or something.

I would go pirogue. I haven't seen a kayak yet that can carry two people plus decoys and guns. I acquired a mold for a 14' but have yet to wax it and lay some glass.
