picked out a single 32x19 undermount sink.

Do yall that have em have garbage disposals installed as well or not?

I know my indoor kitchen sink drains like shite if I dont occasionally flip on the disposal.

I drained mine into a hole dug adjacent to the porch about 18 inches deep and wide and about 3 feet long filled with gravel and topped off with top soil and grass. I used a perforated section of pipe for the "drain field". A disposal would create all sorts of problems for mine....it is used about twice a year LOL...so it isn't needed....I shouldn't have installed it but we thought we had to have it. It even has on demand hot water....

I used the same method for a previous porch sink and I have done a similar situation for 2 half baths in shops at houses we have owned...except for the bath I went about 4 feet deep and 3 feet wide and about 30 feet long, filled the bottom with about a foot of gravel, built a septic tank out of 2 plastic drums and used the cheap plastic drain field. Topped it all off with gravel...never a moments problem. Of course the shower was rarely used but the toilet and sink was used by one person at least once a day. I drained the washing machine on the surface....it was only used maybe 4 times a year to wash shop rags. Of course this was in the country where inspections were a courtesy....you probably couldn't sell a property today with those kinds of drain systems. The porch sink drain can be ripped out in about 10 minutes if it is a problem when selling.

Absolutely. I also have a 6 gallon undercounter hot water heater for mine also. I use the hell out of both of them along with the soap dispenser. I am constantly cleaning pans after putting meat on and after we are finished eating.

I have a 1 hp disposal on my outdoor kitchen sink and absolutely love it. Its a must have imo...will chew up anything that goes in it like crawfish shells and shrimp peelings.
