OSB spacing?

Never used OSB before. Working on a project and about to that stage. Everything I read and the material itself says 1/8” spacing. The invoice from the lumber yard has a line note below the OSB that says 1/4” spacing.
Is that a standard spacing for high moisture/humidity climates?

If its for roof decking and you're not sure buy some spacer clips and use them. It will be uniform and correct

every project I've done with osb called for 1/8. never seen 1/4

Yeah, I found the 1/4” note odd. Of course they were closed For the Holiday weekend yesterday and I’m guessing not opening until Tuesday. I did finally find somewhere online suggest “up to 1/4” if the boards have not acclimated “ to the humidity.
Aside from that 99% of all info I come up with says 1/8.

1/8 is sufficient but if you’re doing a roof get the clips.
