Going in a fifth wheel camper. Would prefer something with trees and not so much on the beach.

TIA

We always use gulf state park. Short drive/bike ride to private beach. There are sites with and without trees. Plenty of room between sites and about 45/nt. We go a couple times during the summer every year

Gulf State Park has some unbelievable bike trails! However, most of their spots aren't very shaded. I'm not sure anything down there has much shade. Pandion is across from the Wharf but again, not much shade. However, Pandion is pretty fine with nice, wide, level concrete pads. We've stayed at Pandion when a concert was going on at the Wharf and felt like we were there without leaving the camp site.
