my buddy has basically the exact same truck as I do but its a 5.9. He was running the edge with the hot unlock and an mp-8 and ran track timed 14.2's on 35s. he just pulled it and went to a smarty and it is serious.

my truck can beat his old set up but I have only raced it a few times, always from a roll, never done a boosted launch, never done a 4x4 launch and my truck is in fantastic shape.

I'm on my phone but you have the ones with the star in the middle right? I love those rims. But yeah, like a year or two ago when one or two guys in town had them I thought man those are some pimp rims. But it seems like now everybodys got them. Your truck looks good, but I feel ya, it's nice having something different.

When I bought these two years ago I had never seen anyone with them. Now I cant get out on the road without seeing them on another truck.

turbo back exhaust(I <3 straight piped Cummins ) or get a setup with a muffler if you're not into the sound.

the 6.7 is very very quiet. im running a 5inch turbo back and it is just as quiet as stock. not even comparable to a 5.9. I wouldnt worry about it being loud

The black Rockstars may be the wheel I see the most on everything. Im not going to lie they're one of the best looking wheels out right now but they're pretty overplayed so they've lost some of their appeal to me. The chrome ones look really good too but you don't see many chrome Rockstars around.

Im a Ford guy, but just have a slow arse 7.3 so I dont venture over to the Cummins forum but what kind of hp are the chipped Cummins 6.7's putting down? I know a few of the basic bolt on 6.4 Fords are capable of 550+.

I hate the chrome rockstars but I love the black ones. I have never been on a dyno but I would think I am knocking on the door of 500 with all bolt ons

I hadnt really looked into enginge/exhaust mods but I am going to do something there for sure after reading the suggestions here

I am going to go with a 2.5" leveling kit and 35" nitto grapplers on stock wheels for now. Then a replacement bumper/grill gaurd no winch. I am not a fan of the ranch hand looks and need to look at a few others including some local shops before final decisions. I want a rear bumper replacement with imbedded lights and a back up cam.

I have looked at similar colored trucks and I like the look of the various gold/silver/tan bumpers and trim. I will likely get the step rails done in the same color as the bumpers.

I will have to decide after those mods if the fenderflares would look good or not and add will have them either painted to match the turck or the bumpers.

No toneau cover, or headache rack.

A leveled mega on 35's looks very good. The only thing you have to worry about is the back spacing on the wheels. On stock wheels you will have no problems but if you eventually do after market wheels you will need to pay attention to the backspacing to avoid fender rubbing.

As happy as I am with my truck, if I could go back I would prbably just level it and run 35's or hummer rims.

Im a big fan of the Road Armor and similar style bumpers. The Ranch Hands are beefy as hell but not exactly easy on the eyes. The Road Armors actually look nice and are beefy as well.

ETA: Another example...

road armor and alien patrol(same designs) are the best looking bumpers but they are pricey and I have heard many horror stories about the company. many people have had to wait over a year to get a bumper after already paying for them.

That's nuts. I remember there was a guy that got banned from the Powerstroke Forums a while back that was from New Orleans. He built his own Road Armor-like bumper and if Im not mistaken opened up his own shop making and selling them. Last I remember they said he would frequent the Cummins forums alot. Screen name was Tank(some random numbers).
