As a lubricant, protectant, cleaner for firearms/reels?

All I’ve used the past 3 years. Don’t need much and anything it touches will hold the smell. I used it on a pair of leather work boots and while it did condition them, I wouldn’t do it again strictly bc of the smell.

I use it on my guns that have a black nitrate finish. There isn’t any chlorine chemical in it that will lighten the finish. Nighthawk recommends for all their weapons. Good enough for them good enough for me.

It's good stuff ... but I wouldn't let it get on any of my finer furniture., buttstocks and forends.

Why is that? I refinish a lot of my guns and have wiped it on oil-refinished guns with no problems.

I will agree with others that the smell is strong and distinct. It lingers, but seems to fade for me after several hours.

I use it on many things. Guns, rubber, leather, etc.

It's really good for cleaning black powder guns. It mixes with water to make an oily wash that get out the salts.
