Coverage both days for me has been practically flawless . Maybe 2/3 freezes each day and they cleared up in less than a minute. Check your hamster. Another great broadcast today. Party Marty landed on the motherload and caught 50#; in last 1.5 hours. Made for a great last period.

Yea I saw that but that still doesn't give us the details of the format. I think they have butchered this to be honest. As a bass fisherman and someone who used to fish bass Tx's from time to time I understand why the anglers wanted more say so in events but what was wrong with the B.A.S.S. tx format? I like the idea of having a marshal in the boat weighing and releasing fish right away but not sure I like the idea of all fish count. Is this the way all the Selects will be or just certain ones? I like the MLF format of the cup in the off season like in previous years and glad that is staying. I have no idea how an "Angler of the year/champion" is determined if there is one. I have no idea if the Select anglers will fish the cups and vise versa I have no idea if cups and selects will count toward crowning a Champion I have no idea what groups 1 and 2 mean I have no idea how many days of fishing is the select tx's I have no idea what the 6 days of fishing will consist of. I have no idea if "The biggest fish" is rewarded in a side prize I just think they didn't do a good job of explaining the new format and still have nothing a fan can go read to explain.

8 MLF Bass Pro Tour events feed into 4 MLF Cup events and 2 Championships
All 80 anglers compete in each MLF Bass Pro Tour event
Every fish counts: MLF Pros will earn points at each MLF Bass Pro Tour event based on the scoreable bass they catch

After two tour events, the top 30 anglers based on points will move on to compete in the first MLF Cup event. This will repeat every two tourevents, feeding different groups of 30 into all four MLF Cup events
At the conclusion of the MLF Bass Pro Tour 8-event season, the top 30 anglers in year-long total points earn a spot in the MLF Redcrest.

FORMAT: The format for MLF Bass Pro Tour events will be similar to the General Tire World Championship events that you saw on CBS in 2017 and 2018.
The 80 anglers will be separated into two groups, 40 anglers in each

Day 1-2 = Shotgun Round 1-2
40 anglers (divided into Group A and Group B) compete to catch the highest weight each day
All anglers move on to Elimination Rounds
Anglers’ Shotgun Round weight carries over to the Elimination Round

Day 3-4 = Elimination Round 1
40 anglers (Group A and Group B) compete to catch the highest weight
Anglers’ Shotgun Round weight is combined with the weight they catch in the Elimination Round
Top 20 anglers from each group advance to Sudden Death Round

Day 5 = Knockout Round
40 anglers (top 20 from each Elimination Round) compete
All anglers will begin the Knockout round with zero weight
Top 10 anglers advance to the Championship Round

Day 6 = Championship Round
10 anglers compete to catch the highest weight

A camera in every boat will livestream the action on MajorLeagueFishing.com

Four MLF Cup events and the General Tire World Championship will be shot in the dark (meaning the results are confidential until the show airs) and you will see them on TV in 2020

I’ve had it on the lap top at work for 2 days now. Better than any BASS event I’ve watched in 20 years

Thoughts on Kenny? I have enjoyed him so far, especially with his knowledge of Florida. Curious to see his commentary on other areas. Also, I have been impressed with Stone’s knowledge. It never really showed in the regular MLF stuff. I like it all so far.

Agree Janky I thought for the first time together these guys have been really good. I’m thinking the TV show will give us all of the info these guys are talking over from the anglers. I don’t get all the people bashing bashing the coverage I’m using IE on iPad and laptop and it’s beautiful. This is by far the best live fishing production that’s ever been done.

I simply like watching bass fishing. I like watching FLW, BASS AND MLF. It gotta be real sucky for me to turn it off.

More Natalie wouldn’t hurt though.

Agree X 100.

They have some kinks and I expect them to iron those out as time goes on. Also I never really care much for the Florida fishing, but all things considered I've been entertained. I also really like the format. All these people saying all fish shouldn't count make it seem like catching any fish is easy and the big ones are challenging. I must be a worse fisherman than I even thought.

By the end of the year they should have some really solid coverage. Think once they work out all the kinks, it's going to be a game changer for watching the sport.

I can't wait to see KVD just go on a tear on some schooling fish and watch him put on a clinic live.

He's going to have to tomorrow if he wants to make it out of the elimination round. He's 6 spots back right now.

I think it'll get better from a coverage standpoint... I do realize it's all new to them as well.
I think today will tell us more about how this format will work. Hammering on the same fish for 4 straight days by to different groups of hammers has got to slow down the catch rates cold front or no cold front.

Like I said... I don't love it or hate it.
It's fishing so I'll watch, but I'm a BASS purist.

I wish scoretracker would separate the weight by days. I would like to see who is catching them on day 2.

Never was a big freshwater fisherman and BASS was getting boring to me to the point I hadn’t watched a classic in forever. Even before KVD blew up the tank ponds. This has me interested in the sport again. Watching guys live and no clue if they will hook up or not makes it real. Seeing guys struggle, get on a roll, adapt is fun to see. Also the fact they know where stand during an event is good.
