I have my eyes on an AAC 9"SBR upper with BCG for $1095. Waiting to see if it will drop a bit.
Local AR shop has for less but think I'll stick with a name brand on this one.
Anyone here running a 9 or 10" SBR 300?
If so, what BCG are you guys finding that cycles best (full auto carrier or lighter cutback versions)?
I will mainly be shooting this build suppressed for pigs and on rainy days during the rut when I can't zap big boy with the Hoyt.But if need be I will shoot supersonic/unsuppressed for whitetails.

The last 2 days have been sweet.
600 rounds of 9mm

If you get the AAC upper it comes with a bcg. From what i've read the only time people run into cycling problems is when running unsuppressed subsonics.

That's what mine is as well. I've had fun shootin off the irons but want to mix it up a bit. What range will an 18" get out to?

Just a bit more velocity, less lost energy at range. You can shoot 400-500 yards with irons with a 16", may just get better results with a quality 18" barrel. I got a Daniel, saw today there was an 18" Noveske on sale today

heads up GM just threw out some winchester 9mm.
about this time last night they started throwing out ammo and kept it up till around 1-2am. they may do the same thing tonight.

As promised, my new toy
The gentleman who had been holding on it made his own lens covers for the scope from some spare leather. The more I look at it the more I like it. Can't wait to shoot it this week
